CREATIVE INTERVENTIONS FOR TREATING TRAUMA
This hands-on workshop educates and engages participants in the benefits of using art therapy and mindfulness as an effective treatment for trauma. Participants will identify how creativity impacts neurobiology and explore and practice interventions based on self-regulation, expressing internal experience and building self-empowerment. *Customize for children, TAY or adults THE ART OF SELF-CARE:
USING CREATIVITY TO PROMOTE BALANCE AND REDUCE BURNOUT This hands-on workshop educates participants about the symptoms of compassion fatigue and vicarious trauma. Using art therapy and mindfulness exercises and discussion, participants will identify the impact of compassion fatigue in their lives and will have opportunities to create authentic, sustainable self-care practices, with a focus on how to maintain work-life balance for optimal vitality. |

In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn the benefits of using art as an effective treatment approach for children. Preparing for sessions and engaging with imagery and materials is covered. Participants will learn and practice over 10 art therapy directives to put into practice immediately.
